To receive Holy Communion in the Episcopal Church, you must be a baptized Christian. That baptism does not have to be in this denomination, and you do not need to be an Episcopalian to receive. When receiving Holy Communion, there are two options:
Intinction - the practice of dipping the host in the wine - requires a separate chalice, and for the time being this is not an option.
It is always possible to cross your arms for a blessing and not receive either form of the Sacrament.
